SwissGirlDesigns Does It Again!!!!

Hi

You all know how much I love the inspiration that flows from Rahel's site, swissgirldesigns.com.  Well, logging on to her site this morning, I was so happy to see that she has launched her new acrylic stamp range.

I have my personal favorite, which is the Paint Splatters, but there seems to be something for everyone in the range.  I have already put my personal favorites on back order with her, as the stamps for re-sale will only arrive with her some time next week.

In the interest of saving on shipping fees, I have decided to see if anyone else would like the stamps and I will place a bulk order with her.  I am ordering directly from her and am not putting a mark up or such on the items....

I am estimating that the stamps will be in the region of AED60 per set, excluding P&P.

If you are interested in placing your order, please mail or post a comment on which your preferences are and as soon as I have all the final details as to cost etc. I will pass that information on.  I will bring the goodies in via Aramex, and will split the shipping fee accordingly :)

To wet your taste buds, here are the stamps:

For Rahel's video on the stamps, please go to her site at www.swisgirldesigns.com where you can see the stamps as well as some layout ideas for using the stamps.

Looking forward to hearing from you :)

My Craft Space

Hi

I was sorting through some scrapping related pictures, and came across these pics I took of my craft space.  I took them while I was working on the "Friends" Scrapbook Tutorial.  I have just recently managed to get the space just how I want it...and then Murphy deals us a Joker and we are moving house in a month!!!  I hope I get just as cosy a corner in our new home :)

This is my craft space, prior to the pandemonium!!!

And this is my craft space during the pandemonium!

No matter how big the surface area is that I have to scrap on, I somehow manage to fill it while working on a project!!

Lil Bees Boutique August Kits - Some More Layouts

Hello!!

I have been a little overrun with home duties the last weeks, so I haven't had a chance to put together another tutorial....I am working on it!!!

I managed to complete another 2 layouts using the Lil Bees Aug Main Kit.

Here I used a plain cardstock as the background, and distressed and inked the edges.  I used elements of the Prima printed paper.  I cut the oval from the front and a strip, using the reverse side of the paper.  I stamped the butterflies from the August Stamp Kit then painted the chipboard letters so that they matched my colour theme.

On this layout, I painted the chipboard letters, once again to fit my colour scheme.

Please mail me your pages using any of the August Kit and I will publish them on my blog!!!

Happy Scrapping!!

Lil Bees Boutique August Kits

Hi Ladies!!!

I collected my August Kits from Lil Bees Boutique today and I would like to share them with you.

This is my little treasure...I am TOTALLY into butterflies at the moment, in case you haven't noticed from my recent pages published :)

The acrylic stamps are called "Wings" and are by much loved Prima.
I love that is has the awesome decorative oval frame and a some birds which are always fun to put on your page.
I was so pleased to find TWO bottles Stickles glitter glue included, in yellow and Platinum.
Stickles boasts a non clog formula and is my first choice glitter glue.

The Exclusive Kit pictured below is not mine, I collected it for a friend so I won't be showcasing any pages with the products.  I just had to show you what was included.

The butterfly is absolutely awesome and the felt ferns are so detailed, they look like actual ferns!!!

I should be getting a Main Kit shortly, and I will post the pictures of the goodies when I get them.

Happy Scrapping

Friends - Tutorial

Hi!!

Here is my newest Tutorial called "Friends"

I Cherish You - Scrapbook Page

Hello ladies (and gentlemen...I know there are some of you checking out this blog!!!)

Here is a layout I did last week.  I got some new goodies and wanted to play with all of them at the same time.  Thanks to the ever restraining ladies in the crop group I attend on Wednesdays, I limited myself to just some of my new stash!!

I went all butterfly last week, and lucky for me... the new Monthly Stamp Kit from Lil Bees is a Prima Butterfly stamp set...watch this space....

The big butterfly here is an acrylic punch I procured from Creative Hands.  I stamped it as a background and then stamped on some cardstock, cut it out and added some crystals for that ever coveted "BLING" on a page.  I also got a Tonic Butterfly punch from Creative hands and used it as a punch out, and as a mask on the page.

I used my new Doily Lace punch by Martha Stewart, also acquired from Creative Hands and added a lace accent on the side of the photo.  I am very sure you will see this little gem over and over on my pages.  It is vintage without being old fashioned.

I am working on another tutorial using some resist distressing.  Watch this space!!!

Happy Scrapping
