I am so freaking excited!!!!

Hello Ladies

Still busy, busy....my house is now at capacity.  Six additional family members in our house!!!  I am one happy girl....

Still no scrapping time though but that is going to have to change!!!  I have been accepted to be on the design team for Scrap Inspire Create!!!  I am so very excited!!!!

Some Layouts

Hi!!

I would like to share a couple of my older layouts with you.

This is a photo of Amy, my lovely little daughter.  She dressed up as a fairy for Halloween 2008.  We were in South Africa for a family wedding.  I love this picture so much, and it really didn't need much, just a nice title, some ric-rac ribbon and my all time favorite and often featured, prima and silk flowers!!!

This picture was taken soon after we moved to Dubai.  I just love the way Amy processed the sand...I printed my journalling on to cardstock, then cut it out and placed it on the page.  I created a "filmstrip" on the left hand size, by printing pictures the same size, attaching to cardstock and trimming accordingly.  I attached paper clips to the "filmstrip".

Thanks for your continued support during the "baron times" on the blog while I have been moving house!!!

Khallas!!!!

It is so. I am done inshalla...no really, I am done, finished unpacking!!!  My new home is awesome, I am such a happy bunny!!!  I have a lovely garden, the grass is still growing in, but will be awesome in a couple of weeks.  I have a lovely craftroom, with an en-suite bathroom!!!  Before you drool, I have set up camp in the maids room (hence the bathroom attached!!)

I have a string of visitors arriving from Istanbul, London and Johannesburg within the next week, so I will be busy tour guiding around Dubai.  I can't wait to show my family (the ones who haven't been here yet) my home!!!

I have a few projects up my sleeve, including a video tutorial  with products available from Creative Hands.  It is guaranteed to brighten your craft area and make you smile....keep watching!!!

Hi!!

Just dropping by to let you know that I haven't forgotten about my blog, or any of you who pop by to see what is new....I am moving house (well, moved house today) and my whole life is upside down.  I haven't even gotten near the boxes which contain my scrapping stuff :(

As soon as I get the boxes unpacked, and a have a little bit of order in my life, as in the words of Arnie, I'LL BE BACK!!!

Making Cards

Hello!!!

I was a card maker before I was introduced to the wonderful world of Scrapbooking... I now only make cards for private use, as in to give to my friends and family on special occasions.

I would like to share two cards with you.  One is a birthday card for a friend and the other is an anniversary card I made for my husband.

Ten Minute Page - SwissgirlDesigns Stamps

Hi Scrappers

I am a little pressed for time lately to scrap, but I got those lovely stamps in the post and just had to play with them!!!  So, I stole a couple of minutes to to do this layout.  It took all of 10 minutes, using the awesome "Splatters" stamps from SwissgirlDesigns.

Lil Bees Boutique September Exclusive Kit

Hello!!

I had the pleasure of picking up my September Exclusive kit from Lil Bees Boutique yesterday.  Wow oh wow...what lovely goodies in this months kit!!!

The travel size Glossy Accents is such a good idea, no more carting your huge bottle of Glossy Accents around with you when you go on crops!!

The prima flowers and masks are stunning, will make any project super special as well as a few treats from the Tim Holtz collection!!!

I know I will be using the clock very soon in one of my layouts.  We all know how much I love my clocks and compasses!!

SwissgirlDesigns Stamps...I have them in my sticky paws!!

Hello fellow crafters!!

I received my stamps from SwissgirlDesigns a couple of days ago.  I am in the middle of moving house so time to blog has been seriously shaved!!!

The process of ordering was simple and it took an incredible 5 days to get here from the States!!!

I love the stamps so much and cannot wait to start playing with them!!!  I will post layout ideas as soon as they are done!!!

I for one have a pile of stash and a few tools that I no longer use, and will be posting my classified on the site for sure.
