Jolene Brown
About Me
Jo to my friends, Jo-Jo to my family and Jolene on my passport. I am an absolute scrapaholic and am constantly on the lookout for treasures to use on my layouts.
I started scrapping when my first child was born in 2002. I was introduced to the wonderful world of scrapping by a very good friend of mine who lent me her goodies to play with, and I have never looked back!
My style constantly changes and is usually due to whichever product catches my interest at the time. If I can get my hands dirty, then I am a happy crafter!!!

Blog
I started a JoSoCrafty, a scrapbooking blog in 2009. My aim is to provide inspiration for fellow crafters, pass on information on scrapbooking and showcase layouts. I recently recruited a team of talented ladies to serve as DT members on my blog. They are required to submit layouts based on challenges which I have set for them.
Teaching Experience
My teaching journey started in 2006. I was a permanent teacher at a scrapbook store in South Africa, my home country, called Scrapbook Emporium. Later on that year, I opened my own online store and offered classes from my studio. In 2007 we relocated to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I continued to scrap at home and attend crop sessions. I resumed teaching classes in January 2011 at Creative Hands. My responsibilities are to create new classes on a monthly basis. The majority of my classes are Prima based, but am comfortable using mixed manufacturers.
